Hello!! Long time no see><
How's everything?? Is Japan cold??
I really miss you. I will go back to Japan after two months.
I'm looking forward to seeing you so much!
By the way, I have heard that you want to study English in Winnipeg, Canada.
So, I want to give you some advice about living in Canada and learning English.
First, I want to tell you the weather in Canada.
Canada is very cold in winter.
The temperature is almost minus degree!!! Sometimes, I feel minus 40 degree!!
It's so terrible!! I can't stay outside without gloves because my hands are frozen soon.
And, you need to wear tights inside pants.
So, in winter, you have things that you should care.
But, in summer, you can live in Canada more comfortably than in Japan because Canada is not humid!
It 's good to live in Canada during summer!
Second, I want to tell you transportations in Winnipeg.
Winnipeg is very different from Japan. Winnipeg doesn't have trains.
Main transportations are a bus or car.
I use a bus everyday, but the bus is not punctual and sometimes not kind!
One day, the bus that I waited for long time just passed in front of me (;_;)
The bus didn't stop because there are too many people in the bus.
Maybe, I think that it's common in Winnipeg.
So, if you become my situation, don't be disappointed!
Third, I want to tell important things about learning English.
You should be positive and active.
You may think that speaking English is scary when you come to Canada.
But, it's not good. If you talk to a parson positively, you can make many friends!
And, if you have a question in classes, you should ask your teacher soon.
Teachers in IEP will help you!
And, you should join to many IEP activities.
Activity is a chance to make friends!
These three things are my advice to you.
I hope that they can help you.
After I go back to Japan, let's hang out!
See you later ;)))
Great advice, Eriko! Your organization within your writing is very strong and it makes it very clear and easy for someone to read your writing. Excellent work!
ReplyDeleteI will not disappointed about Winnipeg transit anymore(T_T)
ReplyDeleteI am almost died when there is -40 degrees outside :'(
We will never forget how cold in winter in Winnipeg, right? lol
I am always surprised at Winnipeg Transit!!!
ReplyDeleteIn Japan, there's no way that buses skip some bus stops, buses are not punctual....
Maybe I will be surprised after I go back Japan because Japanese buses are very punctual and they don't skip bus stop!!
